Angela Brooks is a Patent Strategist with over nine (9) years of experience as a USPTO Patent Examiner and five (5) years of patent strategy experience. This experience has given Angela extensive skills and knowledge of patent prosecution, the MPEP, technical writing, and claim drafting. Angela’s primary technical areas of expertise include Electrical Engineering, electrical systems, power systems, and circuitry devices. 

Her IP work history has been drafting utility and design patent applications, conducting patentability and freedom-to-operate searches, and responding to USPTO Office Actions for companies in various technologies, including semiconductors, telecom systems, batteries, and computing platforms.

Angela holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland University College, Maryland. She earned her undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Florida A&M University, Florida.
